3.1 Settings Tab
- Local Directory - Sets the default directory on the local hard drive for source and
destination of transfers.
- Archie Searchsite - Sets the default site used when using athe built-in Archie search
function.
- ADT Findsite - Sets the default site used when using the built-in aminet search
function.
- Maximum Search Results - Sets the maximum number of entries returned when searching for
files. Valid range is 10-100.
- Write file comment - AmFTP will create a file comment for every downloaded file, showing
where the file was downloaded from.
- Skip existing files - whilst downloading, if AmFTP comes across any existing files, with
exactly the same name (within your download drawer), AmFTP will simply skip that file download
and will not ask you if you want to overwrite the file.
- Overwrite - enables AmFTP to simply overwrite existing files with the same
filename (within your download drawer) without asking first.
- Display Log-Window - Toggles the Log window located at the bottom of the main AmFTP
file list window on & off.
- Show Aminet-MOTD - Toggles display of the Aminet Message of the Day Upon Connect.
- Create Logfile - Toggles saving of logged events to a file on & off
- Logfile: - Sets the name of the logfile if logging is active.
